Creation: the foundation of life. Every day we create our lives through our choices and our habits. So it's easy, just create better.
Well, it isn't so simple.
Most never choose what they create — they drift instead, never taking a moment to take control of their lives. Not because they want to, but because it's too difficult to change — and too easy not to.
The Fall
In the Garden of Eden, life was perfect. Unlimited fruit to eat, plentiful trees for shade — infinite bliss. It was the only point in time where choices didn't carry weight.
Then, The Serpent came. Between slithers, it made a case for the apple. And thus, Adam and Eve were presented with a choice: either eat the apple and "become Godlike", or don't and remain human.
It was hard not to eat the apple.
And so, they did. Not because it was an easy choice, but because it wasn't.
Perhaps, if the choice not to eat the apple were easier, you and I would still be in the Garden today.
Temptation
We are faced with choices every day, much like Adam and Eve.
To take the extra hour to work, or to watch television instead. To go to sleep at a reasonable hour, or to scroll on your phone.
To eat the apple, or not to eat the apple.
And just like Adam and Eve, we often choose the easier option — we ourselves eat the apple.
Dominion
The problem today isn't that eating the apple is easy — it's designed to be.
The problem is that not eating the apple is hard. And it never had to be.
Perhaps your apple can remain uneaten if other fruit is just as delicious.

Simply "trying harder" never works — the Tree of Life is tall and unreachable, and the Tree of Knowledge is short and accessible.
